About Us

Church History

We have been established in Frinton for over a 100 years, originally in the Gospel Hall at the seaward end of Old Road and since 1926 at the present location.

Our roots go back to the 19th Century movement of the Open Brethren, that is, being open to all true believers who are part of the body of Christ, to partake in the breaking of bread [communion] with us.

We look to the 1st century church as our model, described in Acts chapter 2 verse 42, ' They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer'.
